Here are the official files: the fonts, the collections in XML format, the Android keyboard (APK), the companion packs per locale and the keyboards for every platform. Every file states its version, its platform, its locale, its size, its date and its SHA-256 fingerprint.

Installing the keyboard on Android

  1. Download the APK on the phone. The browser will warn that the file may be harmful, as with any APK: choose Download anyway.
  2. Open the downloaded file from the notification or from Files → Downloads.
  3. Allow installation from that source the first time (Settings → Allow from this source) and, if Play Protect asks, Install anyway.
  4. Enable the keyboard: Settings → System → Keyboard → On-screen keyboard → Manage keyboards and enable Visagrafía® (on Samsung: Settings → General management → Keyboard list). The ⚙ gear on the keyboard itself also opens its settings.
  5. Select it when typing with the keyboard icon ⌨ in the bottom corner or by long-pressing the space bar.

How it is used: type the word and tap the ideogram on the strip (or space for the first one); ▲ switches to grapheme mode; Aa to free text; the message is built in the top bar and ➤ sends it as a single image (long-press ➤ to send it as a document, which keeps the embedded text); hold the space bar and slide to move the caret; Ab puts the word under every ideogram; 🌐 switches locale. Updates install on top without uninstalling and keep the settings and the learning.

Installing the keyboard on Windows

Run the installer (VisagrafiaIME-Setup-<version>-x64.exe). It registers the text service, copies the word pack and installs the locale's font. Then, in Settings → Time & language → Language → Spanish (Colombia) → Options, add the Visagrafía® keyboard, or pick it on the language bar. Type the word, choose with 1–9, Space or Enter; ↑ ↓ move the highlight; Ctrl+G turns on grapheme mode, with every grapheme's two-digit key.

Installing a font

With the font installed, any visagrafía® text (copied from the text editor or written with a keyboard) shows as ideograms in any program. Without it, it shows as empty boxes, never as wrong text.

Companion packs

A locale package (visagrafia-<locale>.zip) holds the manifest, the word pack (pack.tsv) and the font of one locale. On the Android keyboard it is imported from Settings → Import locale package…; the 🌐 key switches between the installed locales. The package of another collection for a locale you already have does not replace it: it adds its font (named collection + locale), chosen by holding the 🌐 key or in the settings, and the sent image remembers which one it was drawn with. The loose .tsv and .json packs are for the native keyboards and for your own integrations.

Collections

A collection downloads as a .zip of .grf (grapheme) and .idg (ideogram) files organised by locale. It is imported into VisaSoft Studio with Import XML (see the manual) or into the original VisaSoft 4.0 program if it was exported in the legacy format.
