Keyboard shortcuts

Every shortcut of VisaSoft Studio, by screen. Editor shortcuts act only on the visible tab and not while the focus is in a text field.

General

Shortcut	Effect
`Escape`	Closes the open menu, context menu or dialog (in dialogs it equals Cancel).
`Enter`	In a dialog, accepts (OK, Create, Rename…).
Middle click on a tab	Closes the tab.
Drag a tab	Reorders it.

Shortcut	Effect
`Ctrl+Z`	Undo.
`Ctrl+Y` or `Ctrl+Shift+Z`	Redo.
`Ctrl+S`	Create version.
Click	Select an object.
`Shift` + click	Add to or remove from the selection.
Drag on the background	Marquee selection (objects fully inside).
Drag an object	Move.
`Shift` + drag an object	Move snapping the first object to the grid.
`←` `→` `↑` `↓`	Move 1 unit.
`Shift` + arrow	Move to the next grid line.
`Delete` or `Backspace`	Delete the selection.
Edge handle	Resize on one axis.
Corner handle	Resize uniformly.
Rotation handle	Rotate (whole degrees).
`Shift` + rotation handle	Rotate in 15° steps.
Drag the rotation centre	Move it; with `Shift`, snapped to the grid.
Double-click the rotation centre	Reset it.
Right-click an object	Context menu.
Mouse wheel	Zoom centred on the pointer.
`Ctrl` + drag the background, or middle button	Pan the view.
`Ctrl+C` / `Ctrl+X` / `Ctrl+V`	Copy, cut and paste the selected objects (pasted one grid step away and selected).

Grapheme editor only:

Shortcut	Effect
Drag a vertex or control point	Shape the object; with `Shift`, snapped to the grid.
Click a segment toggle	Convert straight ↔ curve.
Right-click a vertex	Add node / Delete node.
Free polygon: click	Add a vertex (`Shift`: snapped to the grid).
Free polygon: `Enter`, double-click or click on the first vertex	Close the polygon.
Free polygon: `Escape`	Cancel.

Shortcut	Effect
Letters (ideogram mode)	Compose and search candidates.
`Enter` / `Space`	Insert the first candidate (or the text as is when there is none).
`1` … `9`	Insert the candidate with that number.
`Escape`	Discard the composition and the grapheme filter.
`Backspace`	Delete the last letter of the composition, or the previous element, or the bullet / indent at the start of an item.
`Delete`	Delete the next element.
`Enter` (no composition)	New paragraph; in an empty list item, ends the list.
`Tab`	Indent at the start of a paragraph or in a list; a tab stop elsewhere.
`Shift+Tab`	Outdent.
`←` `→`	Move the caret one element.
`↑` `↓`	Previous / next paragraph.
`Home` / `End`	Start / end of the paragraph.
`Ctrl+Home` / `Ctrl+End`	Start / end of the document.
`Shift` + movement	Extend the selection.
`Ctrl+A`	Select all.
`Ctrl+C`	Copy the selection as Unicode text.
`Ctrl+X`	Cut.
`Ctrl+V`	Paste (visagrafía® characters become ideograms again).
`Ctrl+Z` / `Ctrl+Y`	Undo / redo.
`Ctrl+B` / `Ctrl+I`	Bold / italic (selection or default).
`Ctrl+S`	Save the document now.
`Ctrl+0` / `Ctrl++` / `Ctrl+-`	Zoom 100 % / in / out.
`Ctrl` + wheel	Zoom centred on the pointer.
`Alt` + assigned key	Add the grapheme to the filter.
`Alt+Shift` + key	Remove one occurrence of the grapheme.
`Ctrl+Alt` + key	Remove every occurrence.
Click on the left / right half of an ideogram	Caret before / after it.
`Ctrl+H` or `Ctrl+F`	Find and replace.
`Enter` / `Shift+Enter` in the search bar	Next / previous match.

Words panel (with the focus in the panel):

Shortcut	Effect
`←` `→`	Previous / next word.
`↑` `↓`	The same word of the previous / next paragraph.
`Home` / `End`	First / last word.
Click on a word	Moves the editor caret before its ideogram.
